One of the posts that most resonated with me last year. Good to revisit it. This is something that comes up in my Mothership campaign a good bit, and I try to follow the advice here to keep the gameplay grounded in action.

This is great, not just for group games but for solo play as well. Information requires action, which helps me keep momentum going rather than going down gm-brain rabbit holes.
