I personally use the Purple OSR Discord and Phloxes GLoG Discord as a way to find Blogs and take a quickl peak at almost evrything DnDish on there
With how bad Discord works for finding older stuff I have also started to create this Google Sheets to make it easier for myself to find older stuff that i might want to read again.
I love just scrolling through blogrolls on the side of blogs like Goblin Punch. It’s how I got initiated into the OSR scene— following links from Arnold to some of the oldheads, some of the newheads, and going from there.
I keep my rss feed as an .opml on my site so you could inspect and import the ones you like. I use Yakread for a combined rss/substack interface. Minimal ads and easy to use website.
Highlights for me are goblinpunch, throne of salt, older grognardia, necropraxis posts tagged speculation, Luke Gearing… And others I can’t think of off the top of my head. I like most posts from my list, and might delete if a blog from my feed isn’t interesting more than 3/4 of the time. So I like every blog on my feed, but it’s not that big.
I put every blog and rss feed I can find that is tangible related to tabletops and is not run by chuds (that I know of) into my RSS reader. I don’t claim to read ever post all but I skim them at the very least. The reader allows me to query words and phrases so it’s also a way for me to discover some I missed or forgot about.
Since my platform of choice is bearblog I was always jealous of the Blogger blogroll so I created my own. It’s working but one day I want to make it a proper sidebar.
